Offcampuz Safety Center

Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026

Your safety matters. The Safety Center explains the tools and resources available to keep your experience on Offcampuz positive and secure, how to get help, and what to do in different situations. It works together with our Community Guidelines, Content & Moderation Policy, and Privacy Policy.

In an emergency: if you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services right away — dial 112 (national emergency number in India). Offcampuz is not an emergency service and cannot provide emergency response.

1. Anonymous to other users — and what that means for your safety

On Offcampuz you can post anonymously to other users. Your identity can be hidden from other members. But anonymous does not mean untraceable, and anonymity is not a shield for harming others.

Offcampuz may retain account, device, network, and activity information for safety, security, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, and law enforcement requests. If someone uses anonymity to harass, threaten, stalk, or break the law, we can act on their account and, when appropriate, preserve information and cooperate with law enforcement. This is part of how we keep the community accountable.

2. Tools you control

3. Reporting and what happens next

When you report something, our automated systems and human reviewers assess it against our rules. Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts. We prioritize reports involving safety — such as threats, self-harm, minor safety, and non-consensual intimate imagery — for faster review. See the Content & Moderation Policy for how decisions, strikes, and appeals work.

4. Harassment, bullying, and stalking

You don't have to put up with harassment. Block the user, report the content, and consider limiting what you share. We act on targeted harassment, threats, stalking, and coordinated pile-ons. If you fear for your safety, contact local authorities; we will respond to valid law-enforcement requests and qualifying emergencies as described in our Law Enforcement Request Policy.

5. Threats and violence

Credible threats of violence are not allowed and are taken seriously. Report them immediately. We may remove the content, terminate the account, preserve information, and report to law enforcement where appropriate. If a threat feels immediate, contact emergency services first (dial 112).

6. Self-harm and suicide — you're not alone

If you're struggling, please reach out for support. Talking about your own experiences is allowed; encouraging or instructing self-harm is not. If you see someone who may be at risk, report it so our safety team can respond, and encourage them to contact help.

Crisis resources (India):

7. Doxxing and privacy

Don't share or threaten to share private or identifying information about others, and don't try to unmask anonymous users. If your private information has been posted, report it — we prioritize these reports and can remove the content and act on the account.

8. Sexual content, exploitation, and image-based abuse

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and the sexual exploitation of minors, and we remove it and report it to the appropriate authorities as required by law (including under the POCSO Act and the IT Act). We also prohibit non-consensual intimate images and sextortion. Under the IT Rules, complaints about non-consensual sexually explicit content or impersonated/morphed images are handled on an expedited basis (we aim to disable access within 24 hours of a valid complaint). If someone shares or threatens to share intimate images of you without consent, report it immediately; we will act quickly.

9. Scams, fraud, and account security

Be cautious of anyone asking for money, gift cards, passwords, or personal details. We will never ask for your password. Use a strong, unique password, enable any available security features, and report suspected scams or phishing. If you think your account is compromised, contact support@offcampuz.com right away.

10. Safety for younger users

Offcampuz is intended for users 18 and older, and we do not permit users under 18. If you believe someone under 18 is using the Service, please report it to support@offcampuz.com so we can take appropriate action.
